Welcome to Nonogram Solver. This application is a hobbyist project created and maintained by codened ("I", "Me", or "Administrator"). Your privacy is important to me, and this document
explains how I handle data.
2. Information I Collect
I do not collect personal data such as your name, email address, or phone number. However, to improve the game experience, I collect:
- Analytical Data: I use a unique identifier known as a UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) stored in your browser's
local storage or cookies.
- Game Progress: Information about completed puzzles, time spent on levels, and app performance.
3. Purpose of Data Processing
I process the data mentioned above for the following purposes:
- Analytics: To understand how many people are playing the game and which levels are too easy or too difficult.
- Optimization: To find and fix bugs and improve the user interface.
- Legal Basis: This data is processed based on your consent, which you provide via the cookie consent banner.
4. How UUID Works
A UUID is a random string of characters that distinguishes your session from others.
- It does not allow me to identify who you are in real life.
- It allows the app to remember that it is the same user returning to finish a puzzle.
- You can delete this identifier at any time by clearing your browser's cache or cookies.
5. Data Retention
- Analytical data associated with your UUID is stored for a period of 12 months.
- If you reject tracking, no UUID will be generated or stored.
6. Third-Party Services
I use the following third-party services to host the app and process data:
- Hosting Provider: vercel.com (Data is stored on their secure servers).
- Analytics Tool: Supabase Database.
7. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the data I have about your session.
- Request the deletion of your data (Right to be Forgotten).
- Withdraw your consent for analytical tracking at any time.
